Family Information

When patients, their families and physicians agree that a cure is not probable and that comfort is the goal, Keystone Hospice helps families give care in their own special way.  Respecting wishes and values, Keystone Hospice provides help for living fully in the time that remains, usually at home.  If home care is not an option, Keystone Hospice can provide your care in your home or in many of the area's quality long-term care facilities.

Keystone Hospice can help persons who:

  • Have any illness that is progressing;

  • Have a life expectancy that is limited;

  • Choose comfort care when treatments for cure are no longer effective

If you think Keystone Hospice can help you or someone you love you should:

  • Ask the doctor if it's time for Hospice. If he or she is not sure, a phone consultation with our admissions staff at 317.805.4711 can help.

  • Talk with family and friends. Seek their support for this decision.

  • Call Keystone Hospice at 317.805.4711. A Keystone Hospice representative can answer your questions and arrange for a visit.

You may not be sure if it is the right time to call Keystone Hospice. Talking with our professionals can clarify the choices available to you and your family. Our representative will have helpful information, whether or not you choose to receive hospice services. Just remember you do have choices and we are here to help.
